This cartoon was done years ago when the military alerted the public they were going to claim new airspace and then opened it up for public opinion to ignore and inevitably take the new airspace and frequently activate it whether or not anyone was in the vast stretches of sky and forcing general aviation and commercial aviation to fly around it.
