It now owns the job you know how to do, a role that doesn't truly need the Algo to do your job for you and yet it will do it anyway, so it will encourage you to find a replacement job to feed it. At least until it can do that job too.

This was inevitable with the rise of SEO-optimization content creation software. It attempted to game the algorithm, forcing content creators to conform to what it guessed would be perfect keyword phrases and density.
These used humans as a midpoint. But once ChatGPT and other generative AI came along, the human became superfluous.
As a heavy Internet user, I am flabbergasted at the rapid degradation of content and the proliferation of garbage commerce pages and incomprehensible "informational" pages that are both generative AI created AND optimized for SEO. It's a death spiral.
